I spoke with members of the Electronic Game Developers Society (EGaDS) about Wwise and gave a brief tutorial about the general workflow of Wwise. I also gave a lecture about business skills for game audio specialists and how to receive tangible compensation for their work.

I spoke with PAX South attendees alongside Emily Meo, Bonnie Bogovich, and Alexander Brandon about video game music and why game soundtracks sound so good. We spoke about the history of video game music and the early technical restraints, the thought process that goes into defining the characteristic sound of each series, and the level of interactivity that video game scores contained.

I gave advice to students who were participating in this game jam about how to make the most of the jam and how to make the best game possible within the 30-hour time limit. I got to play many of the games and provide feedback on the progress that they had made.
